Dr. Maria Bajwa, the founding CEO of Center for Healthcare Learning and Simulation (CHLS) is a physician, a distinguished healthcare simulation educator, and an advocate for inter-professional education. Her expertise lies in technology-driven healthcare education, medical training, and simulation, especially focusing on virtual simulations and professional development, which is evident from her research portfolio. Additionally, she is exploring the intersection of healthcare and technology, specifically the applications and implications of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in healthcare, further solidifying her position at the forefront of innovation in medical education and training. With experience in diverse educational systems across two countries, Dr. Bajwa offers a unique global perspective. A champion of diversity, inclusivity, and equity, her visionary leadership significantly influences health professions education.

Susan Seibold-Simpson received her B.S., Major in Nursing from SUNY Binghamton in 1983; her M.S.,
Major in Family Nursing/Family Nurse Practitioner certificate from SUNY Binghamton in 1988; her MPH
from SUNY Albany in 2000; and her PhD from the University of Rochester in 2009. Her program of
research is sexuality and reproductive health and nursing education. She currently works part-time as a
FNP at Southern Tier Women’s Health Services, LLC in Vestal, NY and as adjunct faculty at SUNY Delhi.
Dr. Seibold-Simpson has extensive experience in nursing education, administration, and research. She
serves on the editorial board for Teaching and Learning in Nursing and as a reviewer for Research in
Nursing in Health, as well as a grant reviewer for the Health Services and Resources Administration. She
also serves on the board of directors for the New York League for Nursing, and is the president of the
board of directors of Mothers and Babies Perinatal Network of Southern Central New York.
She is the senior advisor and Nurse Scholar of Center for Healthcare Learning & Simulation.

profound passion for medical research. Having earned an MBBS degree from Shifa College
of Medicine, she has consistently demonstrated a commitment to improving patient care
through innovative research with a special focus on addressing gaps in literature. Apart from
being a strong advocate of clinical research, Dr. Fizza has gained exceptional experience
through her contribution in various trials during her years as a medical student.
Throughout their academic career, Dr. Fizza has been deeply involved in various research
projects, contributing to the advancement of medical knowledge. Her research experience is
vast; ranging from studies on medical students to analyzing management of chronic diseases
like dyslipidemia through nutritional modification published in esteemed medical journals.
Passionate about mentoring the next generation of medical professionals, Dr. Fizza has been
actively engaged in collaborative researches with both national and international healthcare
professionals with simulation expertise. With a career marked by excellence in both
supervised and independent research, Dr. Fizza remains at the forefront of medical

Dr. Abdul Munim Khan is a distinguished urologist with extensive training and
experience in both general surgery and urology. He graduated with a Bachelor of
Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from Punjab University, Pakistan, in 1982.
Following his medical graduation, Dr. Khan pursued postgraduate training in surgery
and urology in Hungary, earning fellowships from the Hungarian Board of General
Surgery in 1986 and the Hungarian Board of Urology in 1989. His specialized training in
endourology was completed at the County Teaching Hospital in Kecskemét, Hungary.
Dr. Khan has held significant academic and clinical positions, including serving as an
Assistant Professor at the National Institute of Urology, Postgraduate Medical School in
Budapest from 1987 to 1989. Since 1992, he has been the Head of the Department of
Urology and Minimal Invasive Surgery at Millat Hospital in Sadikabad, Pakistan. He also
holds the position of CEO at Millat Hospital (Pvt.) Ltd. as well as Chairman Millat
Foundation (Reg) Sadikabad, where he has been serving since September 2011.
