I’m deeply honored to be featured on the Drexel University College of Medicine’s Master in Medical Simulation poster. This specialized, simulation-focused master’s program was developed and launched by Dr. Sharon Griswold at Hahnemann Hospital, Philadelphia.
The simulation foundation, established by Dr. Griswold and her amazing group of simulation scholars and educators, Dr. Robbie Hales, Dr. Sharon Calaman, and Dr. AnneMarie Monachino, has been instrumental in shaping the way we approach simulation-based education and practice. Their vision and commitment have left a lasting mark on the field—and on all of us who had the privilege to learn from them.
Today, as I teach the next generations of simulation educators and operators, I carry forward the lessons I learned from these high-caliber, dedicated simulationists, along with an array of faculty who taught us in that program; some of their names are shown in this poster, and some could not be captured. Their mentorship continues to inspire me to build engaging, effective, and innovative learning experiences in medical and healthcare simulation.
